Since 2012 he has released music for solo piano, scored a number of films, and toured regularly as an invited musician. He is an incredibly prolific composer, having released three LPs of material independently, in addition to collaborations with yours truly. His latest EP 'Under' is a collection of five piano pieces written for spring, and feature Hideyuki at his best. The pieces are elegant in their simplicity, each note carefully chosen in a minimalism that is melodic and tuneful.
